December Days Album cover

Hi today I would like to share my December Days album cover and a peek inside.

I Chose a WRMK red faux leather 8x8 album this year.  All the pages have 4x6 photo pockets with a 2x4 embellishment pocket. 

I stamped my album title with The Brush Grunge Alpha set by HoneyBeeStamps.  This is by far my favorite alpha set.  I can literally create any sentiment I choose with this set.

This is my title page, I am going to add more embellishments, but this is a start.

 I have added cards to each page to prepare for my photos and journaling.  I am ready to start documenting December.

Another Fall layout, Project Life style

Today I am sharing with you the companion page to my last fall layout.  This is my first project for the  

Sketches in Thyme Project Life style blog. 

At Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style we create a project life card based on a sketch each week.  We then create a Project life or traditional Scrapbook page including that card.

I took the basic & image created in 4x4 and turned it into a 4x6 card to include in my project life layout. I also used that fabulous "Fallen Leaves" CTMH stamp to create my leaves on this layout.

 

I just love the way these two page coordinate together in my album.  Don't be afraid to use both formats in your scrapbook albums.

Fall Layout

 This is my favorite time of the year.  I love to see the leaves turning into beautiful fall colors.  Where I live in Southern California there is not a lot of fall color.  But only 90 minutes away in Bear Bear Mountain the colors change and it really feels like fall.   The weather is cooler and it's a great place to visit with family and friends.   This month I spent a girls scrapbook weekend in Big Bear.  I was super excited to create a Scrapbook Layout to document all the beauty of Fall and the time spent with great friends.

My favorite CTMH stamp set is "Fallen Leaves"  
This is the perfect set for stamping onto patterned paper and fussy cutting out the leaves. I also inked all the edges with Distress Ink.

I added a couple of TCP flairs to embellish my project. These cute little buttons are the perfect touch!

The leaves are falling, it's time to be Thankful for family and friends. Get out there and document your fall fun adventures.

Fabulous Christmas Card share

Hi today I am here to share another card that I have created using the "Brush Grunge Alpha" stamp set.  I cannot brag enough about how versatile this set is.  You can literally create any title you would like for all your crafty projects.

I was inspired by this beautiful paper pad that I picked up from Hobby Lobby.  It's called Festive Sparkle.

The silvers and golds are so pretty.  Of course I had to grab the "Beautiful Life" stamp set and use the "Fabulous" stamp and a few of the hearts too for a bit of embellishment on my card.  The gold embossing powder works beautifully with the beautiful font created by Melissa.
