My newest stamping obsession

Unity Stamps!! My newest Stamp obsession.

If you know me at all you know I love stamping, coloring, card making and Scrap booking.

I have known about Unity stamps for several years.  I always liked their Angie Girls line of stamps since seeing them used when creating Pocket cards for scrapbooking.  Super cute images of pretty ladies with heartfelt sentiments.

Well now after shopping a few of their amazing sales I am building quite a fun collection of stamps.

Here's a peek at a few I have fallen in love with.

These stamps are deeply etched red rubber stamps
Made in the USA

Here are a few of my recent stamping projects using these fun stamps.  I have joined a few of the Facebook challenges hosted in the Unity Show and Tell group.  The challenges are fun and help you think outside the box when using the fun stamp themes.

Trinity Stamps “Snail Mail” Creative Challenge

Hi Crafty friends.

Today I am sharing with you my entry into the Trinity Stamps “Snail Mail” inspired Creative Challenge . For March.

I used the super cute Mr.Snail Man stamp set for my card

I colored my images with Faber Castell Polychomos colored pencils blended with Gamsol.  I decided to cut my card base with the Square window trio die from Honey Bee Stamps   I backed the window opening with some landscape patterned paper then added my colored images. I attached them with some 3D foam squares for some dimension and interest. The Big HOORAY is from the Honey Bee Stamps sentiment set.    I stamped the Snail mail sentiment and the cute floating hearts from the Mr. Snail Man set also to complete my card.

I am going to try and enter all the Crafty challenges each month and I will share with you all my entries.
I hope this inspires you to enter also.
For details on the monthly challenges check out the Trinity Stamps Blog.

Until next time.

Playing with Alcohol Inks

Today I am going to show you 3 different cards I created using some fun Ranger alcohol ink backgrounds and Honey Bee Stamps & dies.

I made these backgrounds just for fun during the 30 day coloring challenge by The Daily Marker with Kathy Racoosin .  The free form flowing of these inks are mesmerizing.  If you haven't tried it yet, do so soon.   So after I made these backgrounds I decided to create some fun cards to share.

For my first card I cut out the word HELLO, from some fun foam, using Honey Bee Stamps BEE Bold Alpha dies.  I also cut the HELLO from the center of my background card and then layered the letters onto the foam.  I added a few pretty Rainbow Rhinestones to finish off my card.

Oh, and don't forget the inside.  I stamped this Friendship sentiment to complete the card.

For my next card I used the negative cut from the fun foam. I brushed on some glitter ink but its hard to see in the photo.  I scallop cut the background using the A2 scallop die  adding a Pretty Mermaid from the Under the Sea stamp set colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. A few more Rainbow rhinestones complete this card.

For my last card I created these free form flowers using the alcohol inks, I brushed on some stems and leaves, added a couple cute Honey Bees and the Happy BEEday sentiment from the Hi Honey stamp set  This card was finished off with some fun twisted twine.

I hope my projects inspire you to play with some Alcohol inks and Honey Bee Stamps to create your own unique cards.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Until next time
