Halloween Layout

Happy Halloween!  I'm still trying to catch up with my photos from 2006. I created this layout of Flynn's first really scary Halloween costume.  Up till this Halloween he always chose fun cute costumes. I guess that's what I should have expected from a 13 year old. 

I'm entering this layout into the Scrap Our Stash challenge 8

For this challenge you must:

1) Create a layout isnpired by the sketch below 

2) From your stash, you must add your choice of 

Mist, Paint, Watercolors or Gelatos

I used Tim Holtz white paint daubers to add the stars and white around my page.

Fall Bucket List Album

My Fall Bucket List Album Reveal. 

This album is really a labor of love. I have never created one like this before.  The following images are of the pages that I will fill with lots of photos throughout the next two months as we cross off the things on our Bucket List.

These are two envelope pockets that made to hold my lists for October and November

This is the completed album.

 I started out with just raw chipboard that I cut into 4"x 6" sheets.  I then inked all the edges and covered each page with my scrapbook paper. Then I embellished each page adding photo mats, journal cards and lots of fall decorations. The only things missing are my photos. 

I used the Family Traditions Collection pack by Websters pages for all of my foundation pages. You can find this beautiful collection in the Whimsical Twist shop.

I hope this album inspires you to create a Fall Bucket List project of your own.  Check back on the Whimsical Twist Blog every Tuesday in Oct. & Nov. as we continue this fun series.

Working in the Kiwi Lane Designs Booth at the Scrapbook Expo

I volunteered at the Scrapbook Expo in Ontario,CA  all day on Friday and Saturday.  I had so much fun working with the gals from Kiwi Lane designs. Susan and Sarah were so nice. I am in awe of their talent. Lots of great ideas floating around in my head. I earned several new templates for volunteering. I had a blast!
