Happy Monday!

I am in love with this NEW stamp set -"Sweet as Honey" from #HoneyBeeScraps 

So many options with this beautiful set. 

I love that designer Melissa created the Hexagons ( honeycomb ) with solid and outlines to work with. 

 To create the honeycomb pattern I repeat stamped the hexagon outline in a pattern down my card. I then used the solid hexagon to fill in the honeycomb.  I used Distress Ink in "wild honey". To create the distress look.  I stamped the image onto my craft mat first,  then repeat stamped over my outlines.  This gives me a variation of color to create my honeycomb pattern, I get darkest to lightest images by stamping without re-inking I can also pick up color directly from my craft mat for a textured look.

 I did a quick watercolor brush of Distress "Tumbled glass" for my background. I also cut out a few single hexagons and popped them up with some 3D foam squares. 

To complete my card I stamped the sentiment by combining three stamps to say "buzzin' by" "to say" "hi" There are so many different options in this great set to create the perfect sentiment to suit your stamping needs.  These little bees are super adorable with their little heart wings. I also love the dotted trails.  I am definitely going to get a lot of use from this set.

I love you more than Doughnuts

Doughnuts are a big thing around our house with the teenagers.  I recently purchased this adorable stamp from CTMH ( Close To My Heart ) Its called "Treats of Friendship"  

 I created this adorable card,  embellishing it with one of the newest flairs that will be available this Friday in TheCraftyPickle shop.  Notice the sweet sprinkle washi tape? This too will be available as part of the new release.  We are adding a ton of washi and New design flairs to the shop so be sure to pop in on Friday.

 Here is a close up look at my card. I added some glossy accents to my frosting on the doughnut for some dimension and shine.  And of course a few pickle relish sequins to finish off my card.

Today I would like to share with you a card I created for the

   I am new to this site and I am in love with all the inspiration I found over there.  I also love House Mouse stamps,  so finding this group is very exciting for me.  This is the Challenge I entered.  Challenge #200.

Here is my entry.  I used my Spectrum Noir colored pencils to color my cute mouse. The stamp I used is "Daisy Float".
