Father's Day card

Hello Today I am here to share a Father's Day card I created with the newly released stamp sets by Honey Bee Stamps.

I combined 3 sets to complete this card.
Country Wreath - I heat embossed the wreath and then fussy cut it out. I attached it using 3D foam tape for dimension.
Happy Everything- The HAPPY and Day are from this set.
and Hand Lettered Alpha - The word FATHER'S was stamped with this set.  This fun Alpha set is perfect for personalizing all your handmade cards and projects it also has a matching numeric set.

Father's day is quickly approaching so grab your favorite Honey Bee Stamps and get to creating your own personalized cards for all the Dad's in your life.

My Honey Bee pocket page

Spring has sprung and with it comes beautiful flowers, butterflies and Sweet Honey Bees.

Today I am sharing my recent mini Project Life style pocket page.  I have created this page using the
"Sweet as Honey" stamp set.  This is by far my favorite set right now.

I love the blossom flowers in this set. For this project I stamped a ton of blossoms onto some pretty pale yellow paper. I then took a yellow paint pen and white gel pen accenting the flower centers. I then fussy cut the blossoms to add to my cards.  I inked all the edges with Ground Espresso Distress ink.

Using my Fiskers Hexagon punch I punched out several different pieces of patterned paper to create my background.

I think this set of coordinating cards came out super cute.  There are so many fun sayings you can combine to create a lot of different sentiments.  I just can't resist these adorable little bees with their sweet heart wings.  Too cute!

You are Everything card

Hello friends!
Thanks for stopping by.

Today I am sharing a card I created using the Blossoms from the "Sweet as Honey" stamp set by Honey Bee Stamps.

I fussy cut these sweet blossoms after stamping them onto glossy paper with some StazOn ink in Sunflower Yellow.    StazOn is the perfect ink for stamping onto a glossy surface.

First I stamped the outline, then using a foam dauber I filled in the blossoms with the yellow ink.

I added a black die cut trellis and used some 3D foam squares to pop up my blossoms.

The Everything sentiment is from the newest stamp set release by Honey Bee Stamps called "Happy Everything"    This is a great set for creating your own personal greeting cards.

These are two of my favorite sets.  Be sure to stop by the HoneyBee shop to see what's new.

Fun with Julie Nutting doll stamps

Hi today I wanted to share with you some of my recent creations using The Julie Nutting Prima doll stamps.

These stamps are so fun to work with. I love to color my stamped dolls with the Spectrum Noir color pencils
I always blend them with Glamsol mineral spirits and a blending stump.   This makes for a smooth surface with no pencil marks.

Sometimes I only color the hair and skin and then I stamp and fussy cut her clothes.

I am creating a Simple Stories Snap Album filled with all my doll creations.  It is fun to create pages in the album filled with beautiful doll pages.

This is a series I am working on now using the Graphic45 paper collection "Time to Flourish"
I plan to create a doll page for each month of the year.
These are the first four I have completed.

Check back next week when I will share some of the Project Life style cards I have created using these sweet doll stamps.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sweet as Honey Step by Step

Today I would like to share my process for creating a Project Life card step by step..

I started by pulling out some scraps from my stash, my Fiskers hexagon punch and the "Sweet as Honey" stamp set by HoneyBeeStamps

My goal was to create a PL card and embellishment for the Project Life Card Swap facebook group I am in.  The theme was Scraps dive Bee edition.  So I pulled all of these yellow scraps from my scrap bin and started punching out hexagons.

The wood pattern paper was perfect for my base card.  I lined up my chosen stamps on my MISTI ( by My Sweet Petunia )  This is a fun tool for stamping on multiple cards.

I colored the adorable little bee with a yellow sharpie, white gel pen and black liner pen.
I think they came out super cute.

The blossoms are the perfect flowers for spring.  I love how delicate and pretty they are.
I used the same pens to color the centers of the blossoms to make them pop.  These are really easy to fussy cut and attach to my card with 3D foam squares.

I am really pleased at how cute these cards came out.
I am sure they will be well received in my swap group.
