Starbucks Gift Card holder

It's never too early to start making those handmade Christmas projects.  For me once Halloween is over I become focused on Christmas gift buying and crafting.  I like to have gift cards on hand to give as thank yous and small gifts for teachers and friends.  So in preparation for this I will create cute gift card holders. Then when a gift is needed I am ready to slip in the gift card.

Starbucks is an easy one, a lot of my friends love to splurge on a Venti coffee any chance they can.

The coffee cup from the "Treats of Friendship" stamp set by CTMH is perfect for this project .
To create my Red cup I stamped the coffee cup several time on white cardstock.  Using my distress ink, I watercolor painted my cups red with a green band.  Then I punched a 1/2" circle from green pattern paper and used that for my label.  Then I fussy cut the lid and attached it to my cup for dimension.

I stamped the merry, Merry ( also a CTMH stamp ) for my sentiment.  Adding the red and white twine to finish off my card.
I attached the Starbucks gift card to the back with some double sided tape.

Perfect for a grab and go gift when needed.

Feels like Fall - Card share

I am so happy when the weather finally changes in Southern California and it starts to feel more like fall.  Today I am sharing with you a card I created that was inspired by the falling leaves I see around me at this time of year.

I stamped the leaves from the HoneyBeeStamps Cherish Stamp set  on to cork.  The 2 step stamps ( solid and outlines ) make it really easy to create multiple colored leaves falling across my card

To create my sentiment I used the tiny words from several of the new release stamps and the word "fun" from the Brush Grunge Alpha set.  A great benefit to owning several sets of HoneyBeeStamps is that you can created multiple sayings and titles by mixing and matching the words from different sets.

PL Cards Using Tiny Stamps

Happy Fall Y'all!

Today I wanted to share with you my love for using tiny stamps when creating my own Project Life style pocket cards.

One of my favorite things about Honey Bee Stamps is that most of the stamp sets include tiny words.  These tiny words are perfect to use when creating pocket cards.

I really like adding little tags to my cards and the tiny words in the "Beautiful Life" stamp set is perfect for this.  In fact, all of the New release stamps include a ton of tiny words.

There are also great phrases in the Life Right Now stamp set that are perfect for using on your Project Life projects.
I created my own faux flair ( also called Rinchies ) using the "THIS IS THE Life" stamp from the Life Right Now set.

I love the way these two cards coordinate. They are going to look great in my Project Life album with my fun fall photos.

Bee sure and hop over to the HoneyBeeStamps shop and pick up some great stamps to use when creating your own Project Life style pocket cards.
